Cookies

On an ordinary visit to the site, no cookie of this domain is stored in your browser. We do not measure traffic, we do not record which pages you opened, and we do not link visits to one another.

The only exception is the form. On the page with the enquiry form, Cloudflare Turnstile runs — a check of whether the form is being filled in by a human or a bot. During the check, Turnstile may write a technical token (a cookie or a local storage entry) into the browser, which is valid for a short time and serves solely to avoid repeating the check. The token does not contain your identity, does not follow you across other websites and is not used for advertising or traffic measurement.

If you never open the page with the form on this website, that token does not appear either.

Under Art. 157 of the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2), which transposes Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC into Slovenian law, consent is required for storing data on the user's device — except where the storage is strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user.

Protecting the form against abuse falls within that exception: without the check, the form cannot be offered safely. Since there are no other cookies — no analytics, no advertising, no third-party profiling cookies — a consent banner would have nothing to ask about. That is why there deliberately is none.

We will add a banner the moment we introduce anything to the site that is not strictly necessary. Until then, a banner would be a mere ritual nuisance that teaches the user that consent means nothing.

To leave no doubt, on this website there is no:

• Google Analytics, Matomo or any other traffic analytics;
• Meta (Facebook) pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or similar trackers;
• advertising or remarketing cookies;
• embedded maps, videos or social network plugins that would load third-party content;
• fonts from external networks — all fonts are served from our own domain;
• A/B testing, heatmaps or session recording.

Cloudflare, as the hosting and protection provider, processes technical request data (for example the IP address) in order to deliver the page and to defend against attacks. That is server-side processing, not a cookie — but we mention it because it is fair to say so.

Every browser lets you review and delete stored data and block cookies for an individual website. If you block the Turnstile token, it may happen that the form cannot be submitted — in that case simply write to us at info@bodutrans.si.
