Sežana · since 2013
A family company with one truck.
BODU-TRANS was entered in the business register on 30 August 2013 in Sežana. We have done the same thing ever since: carry perishable goods on one route, and drive them ourselves.
Who runs the company
- Dušica Petelinšek founder and legal representative
- Bojan Petelinšek legal representative
The drivers are Bojan and Dušica. The same two people who run the company also drive — so you know who is on the road with your goods.
Why only one route
A haulier with a single vehicle can choose between two strategies: drive everywhere and be truly at home nowhere, or pick one route and master it. We chose the second.
We know the corridor between Spain and northern Italy or Slovenia down to the individual stop — where the loading happens, where the congestion is, how long the crossing takes, when driving restrictions apply and which goods those restrictions do not apply to. That cannot be read up. It has to be driven.
What that means for you
No transhipment
What we load, we also unload. The goods do not pass through a terminal or change vehicle.
A named contact
There is no dispatch centre. You speak to the people who actually drive the truck.
Two drivers
The vehicle keeps moving while one driver rests. On a long leg that saves an entire daily rest period.
Limited capacity
One truck means a limited number of slots. We say so up front — we would rather decline than be late.
